23 years of age, he has been playing at Tarbes in the South-West of France for the last two seasons 04/05 & 05/06
He has close ties to the Penryn club, and also played for Redruth & Ivybridge College before joining Saracens as an apprentice in 2001.
At Saracens he played alongside world-class greats such as Tim Horan and Thomas Castaignede, he was a popular member of the Saracens team. At the end of the 2001/02 season Adryan won the Fans' Player of the Year award and was also heralded by the coaches as the Young Player of the Year.
What
Saracens Say
He is a tough competitor who obviously enjoys his rugby and
is on a steep learning curve. In his first senior game (against London Wasps in
the first game of the 2001/02 season) when others faltered around him, he kept
his cool, and was absolutely secure under the high ball. He has gone from strength
to strength and last season took the number 15 jersey ahead of Thomas Castaignede.
Quote
from Saracens Board Coughie
Very safe under the high ball, textbook tackler, positional play very sound.
Some fullbacks are quicker than him, but none give more in terms of committment.
His tackle on Jason Robinson in a 1 on 1 situation at Vicarage Road will live
long in my memory
